LISTEN HERE:
A soulful, cinematic rock anthem of hope and devotion.
Featuring a standout lead guitar performance from Marc Ford, formerly of The Black Crowes, “Livin’ Ain’t Easy” marks a new chapter for Garden Of Hedon.
THE SONG
“Livin’ Ain’t Easy” is a deeply personal song about love, sacrifice & perseverance,
The song was written from the perspective of someone who has gone all in on a lifetime commitment to music while also balancing a wife and family. It’s about the sacrifices, setbacks, and persistence that come with following the muse and continuing to make records, play shows, and follow the road wherever it leads — together.
Musically, the song blends Garden Of Hedon’s vintage-soaked blues-rock sound with soulful vocals, soaring melodies, layered harmonies, and a gospel-tinged chorus.
FEATURING MARC FORD
Former Black Crowes lead guitarist Marc Ford makes a powerful return to Garden Of Hedon’s music, delivering the featured lead guitar performance on “Livin’ Ain’t Easy.”
