THE SONG

“Livin’ Ain’t Easy” is a deeply personal song about love, sacrifice, perseverance, family, and the pursuit of a dream.

Written from the perspective of a man looking back on  30 years of life and marriage, the song reflects the ups and downs of growing together, raising a family, and continuing to chase a life in music.

Musically, the song blends Garden Of Hedon’s vintage-soaked blues-rock sound with soulful vocals, soaring melodies, layered harmonies, and a gospel-tinged chorus.

FEATURING MARC FORD

Former Black Crowes lead guitarist Marc Ford makes a powerful return to Garden Of Hedon’s music, delivering the featured lead guitar performance on “Livin’ Ain’t Easy.”

This marks the second collaboration between Garden Of Hedon and Marc Ford.

THE RECORDING

“Livin’ Ain’t Easy” was recorded at Mad Oak Studios in Boston with producer and engineer Benny Grotto, marking a significant step forward in Garden Of Hedon’s recording and production.

The song was mastered by Jeff Lipton at Peerless Mastering.
